More than 50,000 people pass through the terminal EVERY DAY, and most of them don't even know it's there. As a Hobokenite, you go straight to the PATH. And even if you take the ferry or light rail, you zip right past it. But do yourself the favor--stop and take a look. The waiting room in the Hoboken Terminal is a truly impressive example of neo-classical Beaux-Arts architecture, bound to impress even the weariest straphanger who wanders in to rest his legs. Originally built in 1907, renovation on the Terminal has been ongoing for a number of years--and a quick glance at the magnificence of what this building can be certainly illustrates the need for it to continue.
